First Baptist Church of New Bern, North Carolina, is seeking candidates for the position of Minister of Christian Education and Administration. This position offers the opportunity to join a hardworking and collaborative staff and to continue leading a vibrant education ministry that has been faithfully guided for many years. Responsibilities include implementing a comprehensive plan for spiritual formation and equipping the congregation to explore the connection between faith and everyday life. The role also includes providing administrative leadership and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the church office and facilities.
Qualifications include a sincere calling to Christian education ministry and spiritual formation; a strong background in teaching and leadership development; a bachelor’s degree in Christian Education or a related field of study; demonstrated skills in administration, communication, and staff leadership; and proficiency with social media, digital platforms, technology, and modern communication tools.
