Nursery through 6th Grade
First Baptist Children’s Ministries will provide a safe, loving environment to partner with families, encouraging children to become committed, compassionate followers of Christ.
Sunday School provides an opportunity for our children to learn about Christian values and beliefs, Christian living, discipleship, stewardship, and serving others. Excellent teachers aid children in Bible study that is designed to help them discover God’s truths.
Meeting time: Sunday School classes for Preschool through 6th grade meet at 10:00 AM on Sunday mornings in Building B.
Our Discipleship Program is designed to teach children about Jesus and help them learn key passages and verses in the Bible. We take this knowledge and apply it in ministry through music, missions, and service.
Meeting time: W.O.W (Worship On Wednesday) begins in September at 5:45 pm in Building B.
Route 56 Preteen Ministry
Our Preteen Ministry gives preteens a place of their own where they can grow in their relationship with Christ and with each other.
Our Preteen Ministry is a special ministry just for our fourth, fifth and sixth graders—a bridge between Children’s ministry and Youth ministry. Preteens need a place where people understand their unique needs and cater ministry to their abilities.
In our Preteen Ministry, we have the tremendous opportunity to lead young people in anticipation of the wonderful things God has in store for them while giving them a vision of how God can use them now. Students will grow in their relationship with Christ through customized programming with opportunities to ask questions and be challenged.
Our preteens meet weekly in Sunday School. They also meet the last Sunday afternoon of each month for Bible study, fellowship, and games. Special activities and trips, specifically designed for this group, are planned on a regular basis. Activities include retreats, summer camps, and fellowship trips.
Meeting time: Preteens meet in the Route 56 room in the B Building. Sunday School is each Sunday morning at 9:45 am. Preteens also meet socially for trips and projects several times a year.
