If you want to be challenged, follow God’s plan for your life. I accepted Christ when I was six years old. By the time I went to college, I felt very strong in my faith in Jesus. I was majoring in Computer Science at Radford University and following my plan when God called me to ministry. I now am not anyone but a joyful, willing and humble servant of God. I soon realized that my calling was youth ministry specifically, so I changed my major to Recreation, Parks, and Tourism. I married my best friend, Diane, months before attending Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (BTSR) and completed my Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree. I was ordained on June 30, 2019. Since first contact, I have felt that this is the ministry opportunity to which God called me.
Jeremy and Diane met in high school in Emporia, VA and were married May 13, 2006. They have two sons, James “Jamie”and Evan. Diane has a degree in health services administration from James Madison University, and worked in a variety of medical practices before becoming a stay-at-home mom in 2011. As a family, they enjoy movie nights with living room picnics, board games, and attending minor league baseball games.
