Bricks for the Prayer Garden

Would you like to place a brick in the garden in memory of a loved one or in honor of a wedding, birth, graduation, birthday, or just because? Simply complete the form found in the church office, attach your check ($100 per brick), and place it in the offering plate. Our church won the top award for noncomercial beautification in downtown New Bern at this month's Adlerman's meeting. Congratulations to the congregation and may God be glorified through the beauty of His presence in the garden, the facilities and the people known as First Baptist Church. Great thanks to the Garden Ministry Team that has worked so hard to make this happen and keep it beautiful. Pray for Dick D, Beth W, Preston S, Chuck Y who are in the hospital. Becky C and Anna P continue to recover at home. Pray for Jerry N, Jim S, Jean G and JK W in assisted living centers. We also are keeping our eyes on Hurricane Danielle, Earl, Fiona and the disturbance behind Fiona. Hurricane alley is really busy right now. Make sure you have your hurricane preparedness kits ready!
